Do you think you’ve been hacked? It may not be as simple of an answer as yes or no. When most people think of hacking they think of unauthorized access to their personal information by an individual. However most computer issues you’ll run into are not someone but something accessing your computer and may or may not be actually taking your information, it may just be making your computer run slowly.
If you are worried about having been hacked and don’t know how severe the damage is these are some simple steps to help take immediate protective action.
First and foremost, turn off your wifi or unplug your router or ethernet cable to your device. This prevents live access to your computer as most malware will automatically update. This will prevent them from not only making it further into your system but doing this will make sure they aren’t able to block your removal attempts.

Second if you are concerned about financial data, freeze your credit cards and call your bank. If you have someone purchasing gift cards on Amazon or any other company under your name you must notify your credit card company and/or your bank. If you are concerned with further data breech it may not be outlandish to consider freezing your credit as well.
Third, call a professional you trust. When you call us, you’re getting service by the direct owner, no employees, or oversea call centers. You receive in home or business concierge service assisting you directly. We come to your home and work around your schedule. The person you call is the person who will show up. We are here to support you. If we cannot reach you that day we can walk you through steps to help prevent immediate further damage.
